鬼たちの姿が見えてきました！
Oni is appearing!

「お客様をあたかくお迎えしたい」という思いを、鬼の表情と大きな手で表現する大事な場面に差し掛かってきました。今日はみんな元気よくそれぞれの持ち場をこなしていきます。エリアを指定したり色を決めたりはしますが、丁寧に細かく描く人もいれば、大らかに思いのまま色をのせていく人もいます。それぞれの個性が現れるのは障害者アートの面白いところです。

We started working on the face and the big hand of Oni today which expresses the hope of the owner of Oniyama Hotel “Welcome customers warmly”. It was a very important job. Today the condition of all staff was great and they focused on their duties. The support staff decided on colouring and areas to paint, but those who actually did the work are the staff with disabilities. Some of them were painting very carefully and delicately, but some others were painting dynamically. It was interesting to see their characters through the art activity.
